This was a presentation I designed with two of my colleagues for the Education Room at Denver Comic Con 2016, a resource run by Pop Culture Classroom for professional development for local teachers. The visual language of comics is naturally suited to aid second language learners, and in the case of French, the BD is a cultural discussion that is particularly relevant to language classes. I structured this presentation with the ACTFL perspectives in mind, so my colleagues and I each discussed different level languages classes in which we used comics to address various ACTFL standards.
